Get your copy of the Raytown-Brooking Eagle

We did it. The Eagle published its very first print edition and 2000 copies are being at distributed at business establishments around the city. These are free complimentary copies so you can see for yourself what can be.

This newspaper will be evolving over the next year as we balance the content between local and county and state news that may be of interest to Raytown-Brooking Eagle Front Page, Oct 4, 2013Raytown citizens. We can never assume that folks are getting their news from the KC Star or reading the news online.

We hope you will take the time to let us know what you think and what you would like to see added. We invite news tips, guest articles and will publish your life events for free. Remember this is news for and by Raytown.

If you can’t find a copy this October 4-6 weekend, call (816) 787-1589.

Thanks for the feedback, Dan. We just published 5000 copies of our Oct 25 issue and are now throwing it in random neighborhoods as well as dropping at local businesses. The best way to ensure the success of The Eagle is for you and your neighbors to buy a subscription, buy a classified ad for your garage sale and buy advertising if you are a business. We cannot give away free copies forever. After Jan. 1, the paper will retail for $.75 each at participating stores. For only $30 a year, you can have it delivered to your door.

Our newspapers have been distributed all over town at area businesses, Hy-Vee, The Store, Smith Hardware, salons, barbershops, Lufti’s, etc. plus we are throwing in random neighborhoods. Let me know if you still can’t find one.

Got something to say?
